The Paris Postgraduate Festival is excited to announce our Keynote Speaker for the festival: Rachel Cusk!
Rachel Cusk is a British writer and novelist currently residing in Paris. Her early work won numerous prizes for her sharp and insightful, yet humorous writing. The Outline trilogy marks a change in her work and shows her pushing the boundaries of the novel. Similarly, her nonfiction work has focused on how one tells stories—most notably, the different ways of relating human experience. Her newest book, Parade, contemplates the themes present throughout her previous works, but plays with them in new ways, continuing her search and exploration of the narrative form.
Join us Wednesday, 5 June, as Rachel Cusk sits on a Q & A panel with one of our Creative Writing Graduate students. Exploring her writing, her inspiration, and her legacy as a writer. Let us reflect on what we have inherited as writers and readers, how we have incorporated it into our lives, and how we carry that information into the future. The evening will also consist of an interview and readings by Rachel Cusk. The event will conclude with a book signing.
RSVP is essential to secure your spot.
